Bible Verse of the Day

Philippians 3:13-14  One thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Welcome back.  I trust everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.  I wanted to start off  2012 by talking about the past.  2011 for many was filled with disappointment and heartache. Sometimes, we must accept life on its terms, not ours.  And there is little we can do to change it.  We must entrust the things we cannot change to God.  Once we've done so, we can prayerfully and faithfully tackle the important task of doing something about the things we can change. 2011 is in the past and that is where it needs to stay.  Face the new year with hope that is only found in Jesus.  Regardless of what is in your future, have the faith to push through the difficult times.  May 2012 be your best year ever.  Know I'll be praying for you.
